Million Ideas Movement Rules

Welcome to the Million Ideas Movement.

These Rules explain how the Movement operates, how ideas are submitted, how community participation works and how the US$1,000,000 prize will be awarded.

By participating in the Million Ideas Movement, you agree to these Rules.

1. Purpose

The Million Ideas Movement exists to discover one million ideas from people around the world.

The Movement celebrates creativity, innovation and the belief that one idea can change everything.

2. Eligibility

Participation is open worldwide where permitted by applicable law.

Participants must provide accurate registration information.

Where required by law, participants under the age of majority must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

3. How To Participate

To enter the Million Ideas Movement you must:

• Purchase The Value of a Cupcake through Amazon.

• Complete the online registration.

• Upload a valid proof of purchase.

• Submit your idea through the official submission form.

Only verified submissions will become eligible to participate.

4. One Entry Per Book

Each eligible Amazon purchase allows one idea submission.

Additional ideas require additional qualifying purchases unless otherwise announced by the Million Ideas Movement.

5. Idea Requirements

Ideas should be:

• Original.

• Lawful.

• Respectful.

• Submitted in good faith.

Ideas must not contain:

• Hate speech.

• Violence.

• Illegal activity.

• Pornographic material.

• Fraudulent information.

• Content that infringes another person's intellectual property rights.

Million Ideas reserves the right to remove any submission that violates these Rules.

6. Intellectual Property

Participants retain ownership of their ideas.

Submitting an idea does not transfer ownership to the Million Ideas Movement.

Participants are responsible for protecting any intellectual property they consider valuable before making public disclosures.

7. Community Voting

Community members may vote for eligible ideas.

Voting procedures, verification processes and anti-fraud measures are determined solely by the Million Ideas Movement.

Votes generated through automated systems, bots, fraudulent accounts or manipulation may be removed.

8. The One Million Ideas Milestone

The competition concludes once one million eligible ideas have been submitted.

Community voting will then close and be independently verified.

9. The Winning Idea

Following verification of all eligible votes, the idea receiving the highest verified community support will be declared the winner.

The winning participant will receive:

US$1,000,000 in cash.

10. Building The Winning Company

Following the award of the US$1,000,000 prize, the Million Ideas Innovation Fund will work with the winning participant to help develop the idea into a commercial business.

Support may include:

• Business planning

• Commercial strategy

• Product development guidance

• Investment preparation

• Founder mentoring

• Access to professional advisers

The exact support provided will depend upon the nature of the winning idea.

11. Innovation Fund

The Million Ideas Innovation Fund operates independently.

Separate funding opportunities, grants and investment decisions remain entirely at the discretion of the Fund and are not guaranteed through participation in the Movement.

12. Fair Participation

Participants must not:

• Create multiple accounts to manipulate voting.

• Submit fraudulent information.

• Attempt to interfere with the Platform.

• Misrepresent ownership of ideas.

• Engage in abusive behaviour toward other members.

The Million Ideas Movement may suspend or remove participants who violate these Rules.

13. Verification

Million Ideas reserves the right to verify:

• identity;

• purchase eligibility;

• idea ownership;

• voting activity;

• compliance with these Rules.

Failure to complete verification may result in disqualification.

14. Prize Conditions

The US$1,000,000 prize is awarded only after:

• one million eligible ideas have been submitted;

• voting has concluded;

• verification has been completed;

• the winning participant has satisfied all eligibility requirements.

15. Changes

The Million Ideas Movement may update these Rules where reasonably necessary to protect fairness, security or the integrity of the competition.

The latest version will always be published on this page.

16. Final Decisions

All decisions relating to eligibility, verification, voting, interpretation of these Rules and administration of the Movement are final.
