Who can join?

Anyone can join the Million Ideas Movement. We welcome entrepreneurs, students, professionals, researchers, creators, business owners, inventors and anyone with an idea they would like to share.

Do I need to own a business?

No. You do not need to own a company or startup to become part of the Movement. Individuals with personal, social, creative or commercial ideas are all welcome.

How do I join?

Joining the Million Ideas Movement is simple.

How many ideas can I submit?

Your membership includes one idea submission. Additional submission opportunities may become available through future community programmes and initiatives.

Can I edit my idea after submission?

Where possible, you may update or improve your submission before it enters any review or publication process. Once an idea has been published or selected, editing options may be limited.

Who owns my idea?

You continue to own your idea. Submitting an idea to the Million Ideas Movement does not transfer ownership of your intellectual property.

However, you should avoid submitting confidential information or trade secrets unless you are comfortable sharing that information.

Are my ideas confidential?

No. The Million Ideas Movement is designed to celebrate and share ideas. If confidentiality is important to you, we recommend protecting your intellectual property before making public disclosures.

What happens after I submit my idea?

Your idea becomes part of the Million Ideas Movement and may be reviewed for publication, featured within the community or shared through future initiatives.

Selected ideas may also receive additional exposure through our digital channels.

Are all ideas published?

No. While every submission becomes part of the Movement, featured ideas are selected based on quality, originality, relevance and community interest.

Can I support other people's ideas?

Yes. Community members can vote for ideas, participate in discussions and help promote innovation across the Movement.

Is there a prize for submitting ideas?

The purpose of the Million Ideas Movement is to discover one million ideas from around the world. Once one million ideas have been collected and community voting has concluded, the creator of the winning idea will receive a US$1,000,000 cash prize. The Million Ideas Innovation Fund will then work with the winner to develop the idea, build the business and help bring the vision to life.

What is the Million Ideas Innovation Fund?

The Million Ideas Innovation Fund is an independent investment initiative supporting exceptional early-stage companies through structured institutional review, Innovation Grants and potential investment opportunities.

The Fund operates separately from the public community.

Can anyone apply to the Innovation Fund?

The Innovation Fund primarily reviews companies that have completed an institutional review process through participating ecosystem partners.

Not every member of the Movement will be eligible for investment review.

What is an A Rating?

An A Rating represents the highest assessment awarded through the independent review process.

Companies achieving an A Rating automatically qualify for the US$50,000 Innovation Grant, subject to the applicable programme terms and eligibility requirements.

Is the Innovation Grant repayable?

No. The Innovation Grant is non-dilutive funding and is not repayable.

Does receiving an A Rating guarantee investment?

No. While A-Rated companies qualify for the Innovation Grant, separate investment decisions are made independently by the Million Ideas Innovation Fund.

How much investment is available?

Selected companies may be considered for investment between US$250,000 and US$1,000,000.

Investment decisions are made independently and are never guaranteed.

What industries does the Fund invest in?

The Fund supports outstanding Pre-Seed and Seed businesses across a broad range of sectors. Investment decisions are based on company quality rather than a narrow industry focus.

What is the STACK Note™?

The STACK Note™ (Structured Venture Note) is the Fund's preferred investment instrument for many early-stage investments.

It has been designed to simplify transactions while providing transparency for both founders and investors.

Final investment structures may vary depending on the transaction.

Is the Million Ideas Movement an investment fund?

No.

The Million Ideas Movement is a global community focused on ideas, collaboration and innovation.

The Million Ideas Innovation Fund is a separate investment initiative that supports eligible companies through grants and investment opportunities.

Does joining the Movement guarantee funding?

No.
